Dr. Christine Prost

Dr. Christine Prost is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology and has professional interests in allergic skin diseases and feline dermatology.

Dr. Prost graduated from the Veterinary School of Lyon, France in 1987 and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. In 1991, Dr. Prost was elected as a member of the GEDAC (French Association of Dermatology Specialists). She was named vice-president of the GEDAC in 2004. In addition, she has maintained membership in the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology since 1990 and the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology since 1992. In 2005, she was named a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology.

Since 1991, Dr. Prost has worked in dermatology referral practices. She has been a speaker at several national and international veterinary symposiums. Her book, devoted to allergic skin diseases in dogs and cats, was published in 2000 and she has authored more than 20 publications in national and international veterinary journals.

Since January 2009, she has been working as a specialist at Tufts VETS and as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She is the director of the dermatology course at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
