Cardiology Services
The cardiology services department offers comprehensive evaluation of suspected or known congenital or acquired heart disease (e.g., screening for congenital heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), degenerative mitral valve disease). Special interests include the diagnosis and management of acute and refractory congestive heart failure, the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease, and the management of cardiac arrhythmias.
Emergency and critical cardiology case management is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by our emergency team in conjunction with cardiology consultation. The service is supported by a board certified cardiologist (American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - Cardiology) and a licensed technician.
Limited appointments available. Please call (508) 660-3251 to review available appointments with the cardiology liaison.
