Dr. Williana Basuki

Williana Basuki, BVSc (Hons), MS, DAVDC

Dr. Williana Basuki was born and grew up in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. She earned her veterinary degree at the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2010. Following veterinary school, she embarked on her journey as a small animal veterinarian before entering a year of rotating internship followed by a year of surgery internship at a private specialist hospital in Brisbane. In 2017, she completed an oral surgery and dentistry residency and MS program at Colorado State University and moved to Massachusetts in the early 2018 to join the dentistry team at Tufts VETS. Dr. Basuki thoroughly enjoys teaching veterinary students and delivering lectures at veterinary conferences.

Dr. Basuki owns two Domestic Short Hair cats, Felix and Sabertooth, who currently live in Australia. She was unable to bring them over to North America as they could not even handle a car ride without thinking the world was going to end. Dr. Basuki considers herself as a foodie, she loves cooking and trying out new cuisine.
