Dr. Steven Fish

Steven Fish, MA, DVM

Dr. Fish received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Following graduation, he completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, a surgical internship at the New England Animal Medical Center in West Bridgewater, and a combined residency in Small Animal Surgery at the New England Animal Medical Center and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital. Dr. Fish worked at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center in Waltham, MA prior to joining Tufts V.E.T.S in 2012. His special interests include developmental orthopedic disease, fracture repair, joint injury/TTA, oncologic and reconstructive surgery, and hepatobiliary surgery.

Dr. Fish and his wife (a veterinary pathologist) have a daughter and too many rescued dogs and cats. He enjoys travel, photography, and bicycling, and is a yearly participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge.
