Dr. Andrew Goodman

Andrew Goodman, DVM, DACVS-SA

Dr. Andrew Goodman has been working in veterinary clinics since he was 16 years old and has never grown tired of helping owners and their pets; in fact, he feels honored to be in his position. He finds surgery particularly rewarding because he is able to make a positive impact on sick animals quickly. Dr. Goodman treats patients as if they were his own, whether their condition involves a small mass removal or an involved orthopedic surgery. Dr. Goodman’s clinical interests include fracture repair, soft tissue reconstruction, and TPLO for the management of cranial cruciate ligament rupture.

He completed his residency in small animal surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center after a surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center and a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Oradell Animal Hospital. Dr. Goodman received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. He is excited to be working at Tufts VETS after having been practicing at Angell Animal Medical Center and other specialty hospitals in Arizona and New York.
