Dr. Jane Waterfall

Jane Waterfall, DVM

Jane Waterfall graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2018. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Barnard College at Columbia University and subsequently completed her veterinary school prerequisites at Tufts. Although a native of New York City, Dr. Waterfall has lived in and around Boston for over ten years, first attending Phillips Academy Andover for her high school diploma and later returning to the Boston area in 2012. In between, she spent time in rural Colorado and Virginia where she worked in various community and shelter medicine roles at veterinary clinics and farms. These experiences and her veterinary school studies made her passionate about animal welfare and companion animal behavior. Her other professional interests include surgery and emergency medicine.

When she has free time, Dr. Waterfall spends it playing hockey, training her pups, or exploring nature. She lives with her husband, an attorney; their two Catahoula Leopard dogs, Sookie and Oak; and their two cats, Cassidy and Drake.
