Tufts VETS offers new advanced diagnostic imaging services to referring veterinarians
Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties (Tufts VETS) is proud to offer referring veterinarians even greater access to special advanced imaging services. These new services cover a wide range of areas and are designed to compliment and strengthen the level of veterinary care at your hospital.
Radiology
For radiology exams, we are pleased to provide referring veterinarians with an easy-to-use teleradiology service. Your radiography system is seamlessly integrated with our own teleradiology service, allowing us to provide remote consultations by email, fax and phone. In addition, we now offer consultations for film radiographs, with a 24-hour turnaround time for most radiographs.
Ultrasound
Referring veterinarians without ultrasound equipment at their practice will benefit greatly from our new outpatient ultrasound service. Simply call and book an appointment for your client - we'll take care of the ultrasound examination and fax a report to you. Our emergency service also is available for referral 24 hours a day for emergency patients.
Fluoroscopy
Tufts VETS also utilizes fluoroscopic examination, a dynamic imaging modality for cardiology, respiratory and GI cases. Our state-of-the-art fluoroscopic capabilities are used for angiography, tracheal disorders, esophageal disorders, myelography and interventional procedures. This service is available on an inpatient basis.
