Brett Casna
DVM, Diplomate ACVS-SA
Dr. Casna received his BS in Biology from Keene State College before obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech. He completed a rotating internship at North Carolina State University and his surgical residency in Maryland. In 2023 he became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Casna joined Tufts VETS in 2025.
Dr. Casna performs a wide range of surgery with a strong emphasis in orthopedics. His interests are heavily focused on joint replacement and minimally invasive orthopedics including total hip replacement, arthroscopy, minimally invasive fracture repair, ligament/tendon reconstruction, OCD resurfacing, and angular limb deformities.
Dr. Casna spends his off-clinic time exploring the outdoors with his wife, daughter, son and two dogs. He's an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing, gardening, and cooking.
