Dorothy Angela Thompson
DVM
Dr. Angela Thompson grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from The University of Oklahoma. While completing her degree, she was also a NCAA Division 1 athlete in Women's Rowing. She went on to earn her Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University. She then worked as an intern at VCA Emergency Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego, California.
Her professional interests include Cardiology, Emergency Critical Care, and the role that imaging plays in veterinary medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Thompson enjoys taking her two dogs, Blakely and Gus, for hikes and swims at the beach. In her downtime, she loves traveling, exploring various cuisines, playing board games and watching romcoms.
