Dr. Lisa Bourazak

Lisa Bourazak

DVM, MPT, DACVAA

After having a career in physical therapy for many years, Dr. Bourazak began her experience in veterinary medicine through pet rehabilitation. She attended the University of Illinois for her DVM and then moved on to the University of Georgia for a one-year small animal rotating internship. After UGA, Dr. Bourazak moved to the East Coast for her residency in anesthesia and analgesia at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine followed with board certification. She joined Tufts VETS in 2026.

Dr. Bourazak's special interests include critical anesthesia, locoregional techniques, and pain management. Her overall goal is to set the minds of pet parents at ease knowing their pets are being well cared for during their anesthesia experience.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cycling, and spending time with her family including her dogs and cats.
