Anesthesia Services
We understand that it can be scary when your pet needs general anesthesia for a diagnostic procedure or surgery, particularly when the pet is sick or requires complicated surgery. Fortunately, at TVETS we have a board-certified anesthesiologist who works closely with our technician team to create and implement an anesthetic plan specific to your pet's needs.
Anesthesia and surgery are a collaborative effort between our anesthesiologist Dr. Allweiler, our skilled technician anesthetists, and the primary clinician managing your pet's care. Dr. Allweiler enjoys working with Team Anesthesia at Tufts VETS, to provide skillful, safe anesthesia and pain management for patients. She also treats chronic pain in small animals using a blend of techniques, incorporating medications, lifestyle modification, and hands-on techniques such as acupuncture and massage.
