Lauraine Joensen
DVM
Dr. Joensen received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UMass Amherst. She attended Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. After graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship at BluePearl Framingham and Charlestown, MA. Dr. Joensen enjoys most aspects of emergency and critical care with a soft spot for feline medicine. Dr. Joensen joined Tufts VETS in 2026.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, lifting weights, playing videogames, reading, staying in to watch movies/shows, and spending time with her fiancé and three cats (Timmy, Ozzy, Sesame).
