Ryan King
DVM, Diplomate ACVR
Board-certified in veterinary radiology, Dr. Ryan King has been a member of the veterinary staff at Tufts VETS since 2006. A graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002. He continued his education at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, where he completed an internship in medicine from 2002 to 2003 and a residency in diagnostic imaging from 2003 to 2006. During his residency, he taught courses in radiology, ultrasound and anatomy.
In 2006, Dr. King was inducted as a diplomate into the American College of Veterinary Radiology. Dr. King has served on the ACVR exam committee, as well as on their executive council, before becoming ACVR president in 2023. He has been an invited speaker and panelist in the US and internationally. Dr. King has been instrumental in shaping the development and appropriate use of AI in veterinary diagnostics.
