Dr. King grew up on Cape Cod and obtained her undergraduate degree at UMass Amherst. She spent a few years conducting immunology research in Boston before continuing her education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship at Oklahoma State University before moving back to Massachusetts to practice in 2014. Her special interests include avian/exotics medicine, emergency/critical care medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, rock climbing and camping with her husband and two young kids.
