Christine Savidge, DVM, DACVIM
Dr. Christine Savidge is a board-certified small animal internal medicine specialist who joins us at Tufts VETS from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Dr. Savidge graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2005. She worked in small animal general practice in Upstate New York for three years before moving to Boston where she completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Angell Animal Medical Center. During her residency she developed an interest for infectious diseases, along with all aspects of internal medicine and teaching. After completing her program, she joined the faculty at the Atlantic Veterinary College. Dr. Savidge has been involved in all things internal medicine, she treats dogs and cats with various cancers and continues to be involved in research related to canine and feline infectious diseases. Having supervised interns and residents, and through her work with veterinary students, Dr. Savidge was honored with a Clinical Teaching Award and CVMA Teacher of the Year award. She is happy to be in the Greater Boston Area and looks forward to helping the cats and dogs of Massachusetts and their families. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, running and spending time with her family and two cats, Simon and Zorro.
