Kelsey Waxter
DVM
Dr. Kelsey Waxter is originally from a small farm town just east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her love of caring for animals developed over years of working as a kennel hand, vet assistant, technician, and now veterinarian. She studied veterinary and biomedical sciences at Penn State, graduating in 2022, before attending vet school at Ross University. Dr. Waxter completed her clinical year at North Carolina State University, and graduated from vet school in the Fall of 2026. She joined Tufts VETS in 2026.
Dr. Waxter is interested in cardiology and prioritizes caring for the bond between owners and their pets. Outside of work she enjoys swimming, embroidery, and spending time with her Labrador retriever.
